摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a hybrid vehicle whose engine torque fluctuation is suppressed for higher product quality while improving its fuel consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The control device is provided for the hybrid vehicle which has an engine and a motor/generator connected to a stepwise automatic transmission via a lock-up clutch. It comprises a detecting means for detecting the condition of fastening the lock-up clutch, and an estimating means for estimating a vehicle speed after a certain time from the current deceleration of the vehicle. The estimated vehicle speed calculated by the estimating means is compared with a lock-up clutch fastening allowable vehicle speed. When the estimated vehicle speed is lower than the lock-up clutch fastening allowable vehicle speed, the fastening of the lock-up clutch and the regeneration of the motor/generator are cancelled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
