LIGHT REFLECTING BODY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF LIGHT REFLECTING BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light reflecting body which has a high reflection performance, prevents the deterioration of reflectance due to ultraviolet ray irradiation, is thin in thickness, and is molded.

SOLUTION: The light reflecting plate is provided with a constitution made by laminating fine powder-containing polyester layer comprising aliphatic polyester resin and fine powdery filler on a half surface or both surfaces of a metal plate. The light reflecting body exhibits an excellent light reflection performance according to refractive scattering arising from a difference of refractive index between the aliphatic polyester resin and the fine powdery filler which constitute the fine powder-containing polyester layer, and hardly causes the deterioration of reflectance due to ultraviolet ray irradiation because the aliphatic polyester resin constituting the fine powder-containing polyester layer has not an aromatic ring of absorbing ultraviolet rays. The light reflecting body may be formed into a thin type light reflecting plate because the fine powder-containing polyester layer is laminated directly on a metal plate without using adhesive.
