PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method by which filming can be suppressed over a long period of time and stable images can be maintained, with respect to an electrophotographic image forming method. SOLUTION: The product of a coefficientμs of the static friction and a ten-point average roughness Rz (μm) of the surface of an electrostatic latent image bearing member is set to within a range of 0-0.2, the toner used consists of base particles comprising at least a binder resin and a colorant, and an additive comprising inorganic fine particles, and a coverage of the additive covering the toner base particles is set to a range of 65-95%.
