<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noodle boiling machine preventing steam leakage from a through hole for a Tebo basket (noodle boiling basket) when boiling noodle as well as when not boiling noodle, and improving energy efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The noodle boiling machine includes a hot water tank 2 provided in a noodle boiling machine body 1, a closing plate 4 having one or more through holes 5 for the Tebo baskets and closing the upper part of the hot water tank 2, lifting members 8 provided so as to be lifted and inserting or retracting the Tebo baskets 7 storing noodles into or from the hot water tank 2 through the through holes 5, shutters 6 for opening the through holes 5 of the closing plate 4 when inserting the Tebo baskets 7 into the hot water tank 2 through the through holes 5 and closing the through holes 5 after retracting the Tebo baskets from the hot water tank 2.
