PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type screen and a projection type screen which are screens used for image projection by a liquid crystal projector etc., incur less color shift without reflection not only of a fluorescent lamp but sunlight and provide clear contrast. SOLUTION: The screen is characterized in that it has a layered product stacking a surface layer consisting of transparent or translucent resin layer in which black pigment is distributed on one surface and an optical diffusion layer in which transparent particles are distributed in the transparent resin layer on the other surface of a transparent base on its surface and the surface layer has many of at least two kinds of recessed parts with different opening area and/or depth on the surface in random arrangement.
