The invention relates to a timepiece (40) comprising optical means for forming a decoration pattern in the form of a pictorial image in response to a carrier action. The inventive optical means for forming a pictorial image comprises a light guide (1, 51) provided with two extended faces (10, 11) and at least one lateral face (12). Each light extractor (19) comprising at least one light reflective surface (20) is arranged in at least one extended faces (11). A light source (8, 8a, 8b, 8c) is placed in such a way that it emits light in the direction of the reflective surfaces (20) through the lateral face (12) of the light guide. Thus, each reflective surface initiates the formation of a reflected light beam in a very well defined direction, the light beam assembly forms a pictorial image in said direction which is typically selected as a normal line to the timepiece mid-plane. |
