The luminescent sign (1) has a front laminar plastic plate (10) on which the legend (20) is arranged. A laminar expanded illuminant is provided for lighting of the legend. A cover is connected to the sign and plastic plate is placed under the hermetically sealed interior inside which the illuminant is arranged in order to protect the sign from environmental influences. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Device for production of luminescent sign; and (B) Method for the production of luminescent sign.
