<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet coater which can prevent the product defect in advance by detecting the non-occurrence even if the un-injection from the nozzle occurs during the ink jet application. <P>SOLUTION: The ink jet coater is provided with an ink chamber 65 which is installed in the ink jet head 6, to store an ink<SB>i</SB>, a nozzle 67 having apertures of small diameter communicating with the ink chamber 65, an actuator 62 to jet the ink<SB>i</SB>stored in the ink chamber 65 from the nozzle 67 and a detection means 11, 12, which is installed in proximity of the opening of the nozzle 67, to detect the ink jetted from the nozzle and an evaluating means 21, which is connected with the detection means 11, 12, to evaluate the existence of ink jetting from the nozzle accompanying the actuation of the actuator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
