PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solidifying material suitable for a solidifying treatment of soft soil such as highly water-containing soil or highly organic soil. SOLUTION: The solidifying material comprises a pulverized material of a baked material A having 1.8-2.3 hydraulic ratio, 1.3-2.3 silicic acid ratio and 1.3-2.8 iron ratio, a pulverized material of a baked material B containing 2CaO-Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-SiO<SB>2</SB>in an amount of 10-2,000 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of 2CaO-SiO<SB>2</SB>and having≤20 pts.mass content of 3CaO-Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and gypsum. One or more kinds of inorganic powders selected from blast furnace slag powder, fly ash, limestone powder, silica stone powder and silica fume can be contained in the solidifying material.
