PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the deterioration in a recording image quality caused by a carrying error by always setting a carry (a carry by a delivery driving roller) of a delivery side recording object material in an excessively feeding state. SOLUTION: Recording is performed by setting the using nozzle number to N=9 and a carrying quantity to P=9/720 inch up to just before a carrying position (a sign G) where the rear end PE of recording paper PA passes through a sandwiching point (a nip point) by a carrying driving roller 53 and a carrying driven roller 54. The rear end PE of the recording paper PA passes through the sandwiching point (the nip point) by the carrying driving roller 53 and the carrying driven roller 54 until the recording paper PA is carried up to a main scanning operation X41 position of the 41th time after main scanning operation X40 of the 40th time. The recording is performed by setting the carrying quantity to P=5/720 inch up to main scanning operation X44 of of the X 40 to 44th time of main scanning operation of the 40th time, and setting the carrying quantity to P=1/720 inch up to main scanning operation X50 of the X45 to 50th time of main scanning operation of the 45th time.
