PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which displays external information without interfering in a player's play, and a game system. SOLUTION: The game machine has a game control means 71 to control a game, a display means 131 to display data necessary for the game, an external information receiving means 99 to receive external information, and a display control means 82 to control the display of the display means 131 on the basis of signals from the game control means 71 and the external information receiving means 99. The display control means 82 makes the display means 131 display the external information only when the game condition judgment means judges that a game is not being played.
