PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further increase the flight distance of a conventional sprawl wire sinker for surf-casting, to make surfacing more rapid during winding and to reduce trouble in entwining with seaweeds. SOLUTION: The sprawl wire sinker is obtained as follows. Wings of aircraft, etc., are installed in the sprawl wire sinker in order to increase the flight distance. A gliding part is added to a flight trajectory to fly in a gradual parabolic orbit. In order to ensure a posture suitable for gliding, a control arc (6) is provided so that centrifugal force always operates in the directional line passing through the centroidal point of the sprawl wire sinker. The rapid surfacing can be carried out and the trouble in entwining with the seaweeds is reduced by synergistic effects of lift with the wings of the sprawl wire sinker and alignment of a main line/main line sprawl wire (5), a terminal tackle sprawl wire (7) and terminal tackle during winding.
