A foldable stand 10 (e.g. for a machine) comprises a plurality of legs 32, 42 turnable relative to a tabletop 20, a plurality of first locking members moveable along slots in the tabletop for locking the legs in an extended position (Fig. 2), and a plurality of second locking members mounted on the tabletop for locking the legs in a received position (Fig. 3). The first locking members may each comprise a stop member 50 pivotally mounted in a slot 224, or a sprung L-shaped member (80, Fig. 6) slidingly mounted in a slot (228, Fig. 6).
