949,550. Sequence timers. CONTROLS CO. OF AMERICA. Jan. 21, 1960 [March 16, 1959], No. 33264/63. Divided out of 949,541. Heading H2H. A programme timing switch which may be driven to any selected point of the cycle at high speed with the controlled circuits disconnected comprises a plurality of normally open switches SA-SE which determins the cycle starting position. Closure of any one of these switches, e.g. SC also momentarily closes switch M which energizes a high speed motor 48 which changes over a switch 52 disconnecting the slow speed motor 10 and the controlled circuits (not shown) and shunting the switch M. A wiper 86 is driven round the contacts E, D, C in turn and a cam 68 closes a switch SS at each of the points E, D, C &c. so that at the selected point, a relay coil 96 is energized which disconnects the motor 48 and re-energizes the slow speed motor. The switch SS may be omitted. Specification 949,547 also is referred to. |
