<p>The method is for manufacturing an auxiliary frame on the chassis of a lorry and has variously assembled parts pushed into each other and having opposing grooves into which they fit. They are made of plate material and combine the properties of great strength, great rigidity and low integral weight. They have a so-called honeycomb structure. They can always be correctly positioned without using measurement apparatus. Cross beams of the frame, welded to the main beams, support the floor and can be formed in one piece over the complete floor width. The general structure is conducive to the construction of a low loading floor.</p> |
