PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external wall structure that can form external walls of various shapes using existing members. SOLUTION: The external wall structure 10 is formed by arranging seven, as an example, external wall panels 12 with plane outer surfaces. The external wall panels 12a, 12g adjoining the external wall 12 of plane shape are arranged flush with and at a right angle to external wall panels 24, and the other external wall panels 12b, 12c, 12d, 12e are arranged at certain angles to the adjoining external wall panels 12b, 12c, 12d, 12e. The external wall panel 12a does not interfere with an existing column of rectangular cross section, and the external wall panel 12g is joined to the external wall panel 24 with a plane outer surface by an internal corner backup member 28 or the like.
