PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency notification system using a telephone terminal for usual communication instead of a dedicated emergency notification system for notifying emergency information preferentially. SOLUTION: This emergency notification system is provided with at least one transmission server device receiving emergency information from an external emergency information transmission device and transmitting it via a communication network, a usual communication intermediation server device, and a plurality of telephone terminals connected via a communication network. In receipt of the emergency information from the emergency transmission server device, the telephone terminal broadcasts the emergency information preferentially. The transmission server device is provided with an identification information storage part storing identification information of the telephone terminal, an emergency information contents storage part, and an emergency information transmission processing part. The telephone device having an identification information storage part for the transmission server device and a collation part collating whether a call is transmitted from the transmission server device or not in receipt of the call broadcasts the emergency information preferentially when the collation part determines that the call is made from the transmission server device.
