PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a date batch registering function that makes the order of reproduction of image data registered in album properly accord with the order of days of photography of images. SOLUTION: A memory card 17 stores an image files and photography day information related to the image files. A CPU 21 acquires photography days for batch registrations of the image files in album files. Based upon the photography days acquired for the batch registration, an album file for defining the reproduction order of image data recorded in the memory card 17 and the reproduction order of the image data in the generated album file is rewritten. When the reproduction order of image data in an album file generated based upon a plurality of photography days does not accord with the order of photography days, the reproduction order of the image data in the album file is rewritten into the order of photography days.
