<p>A zoom lens device capable of, while reduced in size, zooming operation with the number of steps that enables the device to sufficiently exhibit its value as the zoom lens. The zoom lens device is provided with a lens system (A) having a first lens group (11), a second lens group (12), and a third lens group (13) arranged in an optical axis (Z); a zoom mechanism (E) for varying the focal length of the lens system (A) by moving the second lens group (12) in the direction of the optical axis (Z); a focus mechanism (C) for adjusting the position of image formation of the lens system (A) by moving the third lens group (13) in the same direction as the optical axis (Z); and a drive force transmission section (B) for transmitting drive force from a motor (1) to the zoom mechanism (E) and the focus mechanism (C). The drive force transmission section (B) has an intermittent transmission mechanism (D), such as the Geneva mechanism (F), intermittently transmitting drive force from a drive source to the zoom mechanism (E).</p> |
