PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cookstove burner suitably usable for a gas cookstove, by improving heat efficiency, by effectively preventing a lift of flame. SOLUTION: An inclined face 23 inclining downward within 45°from a horizontal plane, is formed on an upper surface of a burner head 22 of the cookstove burner 20, and a plurality of flame holes 24, 24, etc. are bored on its inclined face 23, and a disk-like revolving cover 25 larger by a round than an external shape of the burner head 22, is coaxially placed on the burner head 22. This revolving cover 25 can cover the whole upper surface of the burner head 22 in a noncontact state by being set in the upper surface center of the burner head 22 via a metallic fiber mat 26 by fixing the metallic fiber mat 26 of an elastically deformable and heat resistant cylindrical external shape. Eight blades 27, 27, etc. respectively formed in a circular arc shape when viewed from the shaft direction, are suspended downward on the under surface outer periphery of the revolving cover 25 by respectively adjusting the directions so as to become a spiral shape with the metallic fiber mat 26 as the center.
