PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric detonator capable of dispensing with initiating explosive and igniting powder, and directly igniting base charge as secondary explosive with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This non-initiating explosive electric detonator includes a cylindrical tubular body closed at its one end, the base charge loaded in the tubular body at the closed one side, and an ignition device inserted from the other opened end side of the tubular body to be stored there. The ignition device is a semiconductor electric bridge device having a laminate layer composed of a reactive metallic layer and a reactive insulating layer, and an electrode pad, and the base charge is pentaerythritol tetranitrate or the like.
