<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an orexin-inducing agent for awaking a living body to aim at its activation, improve volition, or the like, by taking the same, also enabling the improvement and treatment of various states of awaking difficulties accompanying with the decrease of the orexin, e.g. narcolepcy, the state of awaking difficulty of a patient having sleeping breathlessness syndrome, exhaustive fatigue feeling of a dialysis patient after the dialysis, the state of awaking difficulty accompanying with hypotension, suckling difficulty of neonates, or the like, and a new composition for an orexin-inducing food. <P>SOLUTION: An orexin-inducing composition is characterized by containing carnitine, or the orexin-inducing composition as an improving agent of the states of awaking difficulties or the decrease of acting power is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
