PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposer which is prevented from being continuously driven in a overloaded state. SOLUTION: A control part 17 monitors current value signals MC outputted from a current detection circuit 16 detecting current flowing to a motor 8. On detecting a current more than an overcurrent detecting threshold value, when the time for detecting the overcurrent is longer than a given overcurrent detection set time, the motor 8 is reversely rotated. When the reverse rotation number due to overcurrent detection reaches a given reverse rotation times, the motor 8 is stopped. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
