PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage appliance capable of preventing the continuation of a back-flow state for a long time when the back-flow state where the drain flows back from a drainage path to a storing portion side, occurs. SOLUTION: This drainage appliance comprises a drain discharging means 45 for discharging the drain stored in a storing portion DT to the external through a drainage path 44, a back-flow preventing means 46 for preventing the back-flow of the drain from the drainage path 44 to a storing portion DT side, and a control means H1 for controlling the drain discharging means 45, and the control means H1 starts the discharging operation when it is discriminated that the storing quantity of drain becomes more than storing quantity for starting discharging, implements a drain discharging processing for storing the discharging operation when it is discriminated that the storage quantity becomes less than the storage quantity for stopping the discharging, and discriminates the back-flow state where the drain flows back, when the storing quantity of drain becomes more than the storing quantity for stopping the discharging during the passage of a preset time for discrimination after the implementation of the drain discharging processing.
