<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote diagnostic device allowing proper diagnosis upon a terminal device, and allowing proper notification of a diagnostic result even without preparing various kinds of programs for diagnosing the terminal device. <P>SOLUTION: A PC 4 transmits transmission request of a diagnostic program to a server device 7, and the server device 7 transmits the diagnostic program to the PC 4. The PC 4 transmits measurement request to a composite machine 3 according to the downloaded diagnostic program, and the composite machine 3 collects measurement results according to measurement items in all the kinds of composite machines, and transmits the collected measurement results to the PC 4 together with product information. Next, the PC 4 transmits the received product information and measurement result to the server device 7, and the server device 7 selects a filter according to the received product information from a filter group, extracts the diagnostic item and the diagnostic result to be transmitted to the PC 4 on the basis of setting contents of the selected filter and the received measurement result, and transmits them to the PC 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
