PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information-recording method which is suitable for high-density recording, stores stable record information, and has even servo information suitable for high-density recording. SOLUTION: The information-recording method records information to an information-recording medium and then executes an operation for reading the information by means of a magnetic head. In this case, the information-recording method records or reads the information, by locally changing a temperature of a part of the recording medium, the part corresponding to the recording and reading of the information.
