<p>Method for cooling and conditioning the substrate disk of an optical data carrier that has an inner central hole in which the disk is supported on a gas cushion that is provided by a guided gas flow. The gas flow cools the disk, and sets the disk in rotation, while a holding rod, which engages in the central hole, serves for transverse guidance and transport. An independent claim is made for a device for cooling and conditioning the substrate disk of an optical data carrier that has an inner central hole.</p> |
