<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of configuring transport channels of a telecommunication system comprising at least one sending entity and one receiving entity between which one and the same link ensures the transmission of several transport channels of different qualities of service. <P>SOLUTION: The sending entity multiplies a rate matching parameter by an initial size of an input block to compute an intermediate size (Y'i) of an output block, computes a final size of the output block to a transport channel corresponding to the output block, based on a ratio of a sub-total of the intermediate size up to said transport channel in a total of a maximum payload of a multiplexing frame and the intermediate size of the output block. Based on said final size, rate matching of at least one bit of the input data block to each of transport channels is executed by puncturing or repeating, thereby efficiently multiplexing blocks on the multiplexing frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
