PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor lift for a vehicle capable of surely preventing unexpected lowering of a movable floor by automatically detecting a load. SOLUTION: The movable floor 11 is connected to one end of a link mechanism 20 through a spring hinge 1 energized to be opened at the predetermined angle by a torsion spring 5. The movable floor 11 is displaced in response to compression or restoration of the spring hinge 1 in the expanding condition. A load detecting unit 80 outputs a floor load detecting signal on the basis of detection of the displacement of the movable floor 11 in the expanding condition. A control unit 40 controls to prohibit drive of a driving unit 30 in the condition wherein determination that a certain load or more is applied to the movable floor 11 is done based on detection of the floor load detecting signal.
