<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print processing method capable of performing a setting of a printer driver by a user only when banner print is to be performed by producing the same paper size at normal print time. <P>SOLUTION: A banner print function of the print driver has means for performing a setting of a "function for not printing a space portion between pages" and a "function for not printing the same drawing area between pages", and the space portion between the pages is made not to print in a printer side by issuing a command to the printer side in each page when the "function for not printing the space portion between pages" is set. When the "function for not printing the same drawing area between pages" is set, a print function of an OS is made to be stored, and a replay process is performed by a method of performing a print preview of the special drawing portion between pages. Then a parameter of the print function for drawing the same portion between pages is changed so as not to be drawn after comparing with the special drawing portion between pages at the same time while the command is sent to the printer side so that the same drawing area between pages is not printed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
