<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric porcelain composition for high frequency which can be fired at a low temperature, has a large dielectric constant and a high Q value even when using in a high frequency region such as a micro wave and a millimeter wave, and has a small absolute value of temperature coefficient (τ<SB>f</SB>) of resonance frequency, and to provide a dielectric resonator, a dielectric filter, a dielectric duplexer, and a communication apparatus which are obtained using the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric porcelain composition comprises as a main component a composition containing at least rare earth (Ln), Al, Ca, Ti, M1, M2 and W, wherein M1 is at least one of Zn and Mg, and M2 is at least one of Nb and Ta, and when the composition is expressed by the composition formula, (1-y)xCaTi<SB>a</SB>O<SB>1+2a</SB>-(1-y)(1-x)Caä(M1)<SB>1/3</SB>(M2<SB>1-z</SB>W<SB>z</SB>)<SB>2/3</SB>}<SB>b</SB>O<SB>1+2b</SB>-yLnAl<SB>c</SB>O<SB>(3+3c)/2</SB>, the composition satisfy 0.56≤x≤0.8, 0.08≤y≤0.18, 0.05≤z≤0.5, (1-y)x≤0.660, 0.985≤a≤1.05, 0.9≤b≤1.02 and 0.9≤c≤1.05. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
