PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of slave units which can be set with respect to a wireless communication system between a master device and slave units for transmitting and receiving data wirelessly. SOLUTION: An occupied slot and a common slot are provided in a time slot in a period T. A single slave unit is allocated to the occupied slot. Several slave units are allocated to the common slot. A slave unit performs carrier sense right before transmitting data to the master device, and cancels data transmission to the master device if another slave unit is in communication with the master device. Also, the slave units to which the common slot is allocated make the data transmission timing in the common slot vary by random numbers or the like. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
