PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore a restorable failure in a short period of time when the failure occurs in a part of modules. SOLUTION: Data are written in an NIPU (N image processor unit) register (S1), the data of the NIPU register are read (S2), whether the written data coincide with the read data is determined (S3), when it is determined that the written data are not coincident with the read data, it is determined that a failure that data can not be written in the NIPU register occurs and only the NIPU is reset to execute a reset operation (S4), weighting is applied only for a preset prescribed time 100ms to prevent a function by the NIPU from being used (S5), resetting to the NIPU is released (S6), the NIPU is initialized and the NIPU is shifted to an available state again (S7), and this processing is terminated.
