PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device giving a player an advice on an accurate distance as a help of a caddie. SOLUTION: This advice device constantly displays a distance from the caddie to a pin and a distance 71 to a tee ground on a left upper part of a display hole figure. When the caddie touches a position on the display hole figure where the player tees with a pen and, after the player shot the ball with a driver, successively touches the actual reach position of the ball of the player A on the display hole figure with the pen, the device produces and displays an advice screen 65 indicating the carry of the ball and the residual distance 71 to the pin position.
