When mounted, a base (20) is turned towards a computer tomographic device's gantry supporting ring. Bent vertically from the base, a detector's surface (9) is turned towards the gantry's isocentric axis when mounted. Along the detector's surface there are a number of detector elements for detecting X-rays. The base has an air inlet (21). An independent claim is also included for a computer tomographic device with a gantry including a rotary carrier to rotate on an isocentric axis and a supporting ring for the rotary carrier.
