A face image synthesis device has a storage device (2) and a calculation/processing device (1). The storage device (2) stores face images and characteristics points including the original points set for each of the face images. The calculation/processing device (1) creates deformed face images that are obtained by deforming the face images so that the original points match each other and that other characteristics points match each other and then creates a synthesized face image from the deformed face images.
