<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of detecting deterioration of a fuel cell with high accuracy even when current-voltage characteristics of the fuel cell is changed by an oxide film generated at an oxidant electrode of the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A current sensor 18 and a voltage sensor 19 detect current and voltage, respectively, of a fuel cell stack 2. A controller 13 as a control device of the fuel cell system learns the current-voltage characteristics of the fuel cell depending on the current and the voltage of the fuel cell stack 2, and detects the deterioration of the fuel cell stack 2 depending on the result of learning. Further, the controller 13 stops the learning when a change in current-voltage characteristics of the fuel cell is generated by the oxide film generated at a catalyst of the oxidant electrode 2b of the fuel cell stack 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
