<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal separator for a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell and its manufacturing method improved a resistance to corrosion with maintaining conductivity. <P>SOLUTION: Fine powder is sprayed on a metal substrate surface contacting with an electrode structuring a unit cell of a metal separator with carrier gas from a tip of a minute hole nozzle to form a precise buffer layer, on which a conductive protection film is formed. Furthermore, the conductive protection film is formed by spraying fine powder on the buffer layer with carrier gas from the tip of the minute hole nozzle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
