<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of surely engaging an opening/closing section to a housing body when the opening/closing section openably provided to the housing body is held in a condition that the opening/closing section is closed to the housing body. <P>SOLUTION: In this opening/closing mechanism, a discharge unit is openably provided to the apparatus body such that a front latch 44 and a rear latch 45 of the discharge unit are attached to or detached from engagement pins 46, 47. A balance section (a width A) 44a is provided to a roughly central portion of the front latch 44.
