PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endotracheal sample administration aid for a small animal, capable of being safely inserted into the oral cavity of the small animal and directly administering a prescribed quantity of a sample to the trachea. SOLUTION: This endotracheal sample administration aid for the small animal is the endotracheal sample administration aid used when the sample is administered from inside the oral cavity of the small animal to the entrance of the trachea. The endotracheal sample administration aid is characterized by a mouth opener in the shape of a truncated cone with both ends opened for keeping the mouth of the small animal in the opened state by inserting a small-diameter end into the mouth of the small animal, a saliva removing means for removing the saliva from inside the oral cavity of the small animal, and a light source for illuminating the inside of the oral cavity of the small animal. The endotracheal sample administration aid for the small animal may also have an enlarged observation means permitting enlarged observation of the entrance of the trachea in the oral cavity of the small animal.
