PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screening device capable of increasing screening ability and product quality, suitably performing "finely selecting classification", increasing a second return cycling amount and effectively performing rachis branch treatment when a threshing amount is much and in the case that the opening is large. SOLUTION: The screening device of a combine harvester, formed to automatically control the opening of a swinging screening device according to a threshing amount controls so that the opening amount of a chaff sheave 55 to be small when the threshing amount is small and to be large when the threshing amount is large, and the change of the opening corresponding to increase of threshing amount is controlled so as to parabolically increase corresponding to increase of the threshing amount.
