<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed having a plurality of functions and a method for controlling thereof where occurrence of a trouble caused by controlling of a plurality of devices simultaneously is prevented. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 52 controls a bed driving unit 20, a bed carrying unit 30 and a body weight measurement unit 40 inclusively in relation with each other. When a user presses a button for operating the bed carrying unit 30, the body weight measurement unit 40, etc. of an operation box 8, the control part 52 judges whether the attitude of the bed is suitable for carrying the bed or measuring a body weight. When it is not proper, the control part 52 displays information on the impropriety on a display screen 51 to warn the user. In this case, the control part 52 may start operation after the attitude of the bed comes to have no effect on carrying of the bed, measuring of the body weight, etc., and may start each operation after making the attitude of the bed into a state suitable for each operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
