PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell housing device extremely enhancing usability by making a button-shaped cell possible to be displayed easily. SOLUTION: The housing device houses a button-shaped cell 6 and also has a positive terminals 4 mounted elastically to a positive electrode surrounding the housing space and a negative electrode on a bottom part and an upward opening housing part 3 with a negative terminal 5 disposed therein. The upward opening of the housing part 3 is closed by a cell lid 9 to hold the cell 6 in the housing part 3 is formed to close the cell 6 by a cell lid 9 held in the housing part 3, and a locking member 8 to allow the cell 6 to rise up by a prescribed amount though the biasing force of the negative terminal 5 is further disposed when removing the cell lid 9.
