<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image sensing device which has high condensing efficiency to a photosensitive part and little crosstalk. <P>SOLUTION: An insulating film 101a is formed on a substrate 130 with a plurality of photosensitive parts 100 disposed two-dimensionally on a surface. A layer insulating film 102 is formed above the region of an insulating film except a region wherein a photosensitive part is disposed at the opposite side of the photosensitive part to the insulating film. An optical waveguide 1 composed of a material whose refractive index is higher than that of the layer insulating film is provided in a region on the insulating film corresponding to a region wherein the photosensitive part is disposed and enclosed with the layer insulating film. A condensing lens 2 and a color filter 3 are provided one by one on the optical waveguide. Since the distance between the condensing lens and the photosensitive part becomes short, and light incident obliquely into the optical waveguide is totally reflected at an interface with the layer insulating film to reach the photosensitive part, condensing efficiency is improved and crosstalk is decreased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
