PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device controller which is flexibly adaptable to a change in a connection device. SOLUTION: This device controller 1 comprises: a LAN port connectable to the Internet 6; connecting ports for a control signal line and a state monitoring line of devices 2 and 3 to be connected; a setup information holding means 4 for receiving and storing a manual input of device information of the devices connected by the connecting ports; a device information acquiring means for transmitting the device information stored in the setting information holding means to a server 7 having a database for managing information of devices on the Internet and acquiring device information of a corresponding device from the server; and a setup information complementing means for collating the device information acquired from the device information acquiring means with the device information of the device stored in the setup information holding means and complementarily registering an insufficient part.
