PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game apparatus by which a player may be more interested in a game. SOLUTION: This game apparatus is equipped with a numerical value generating means 402 to orderly generate numerical values along a prescribed sequence of numbers as time elapses, an ordinary lottery means 510 and a special lottery means 610 to carry out inner lottery to judge prize winning or not based on a numerical value acquired from the numerical value generating means 402 by a timing of a game ball passing a gate, an open/close control means 635 to control movement of a opening/closing mechanism to open/close a mechanical lottery port entrance according to a result of the inner lottery, and a mechanical lottery means 710 to designate prize winning when a game ball enters a specific area among a plurality of areas of the mechanical lottery port. When an inner lottery is won, the open/close control means 635 makes the opening/closing mechanism into an opening condition until a prescribed condition is satisfied and, when the mechanical lottery is won, a jackpot game is started.
