PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tripod for easily carrying the tripod and a power source. SOLUTION: In this tripod 10, since a battery 60 being the power source is stored in an elevator part 22 of the tripod 10, the battery 60 is not required to be carried separately from the tripod 10, and thus, the tripod 10 and the battery 60 can be easily carried. Since a carrying space exclusive to the battery is not required, these can be carried in a reduced space. The battery 60 is adopted as the power source by using the fact that the elevator part 22 is a pipe shape, and since the battery 60 is stored in its shaft direction in a cylinder of the elevator part 22, the power source can be effectively arranged in the elevator part 22.
