1,209,528. Electric motor brushgear. PHILIPS GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN N.V. 29 May, 1968 [1 June, 1967], No. 25721/68. Heading H2A. In a small electric motor commutator brushgear wherein spring-loaded carbon brushes 11 are slidably arranged in tubular metal brush holders 9 mounted on an injection-moulded thermoplastic synthetic resin supporting plate 8, the holders are firmly held on, and are resiliently urged against other parts of the supporting plate, by bridge members 10 integral with the plate. The latter also has integral projections 18, 19 which during assembly respectively guide and stop the holder, which is either sawn tubing or a shaped metal strip. The loading spring 12 is helical and compressed in the holder by a resilient clip 13, e.g. of phosphor bronze retained solely by portions in holder openings 16, 17. The plate has a clamping fit on stator core pins 5, and carries stator coil lead soldering tags 22.
|
