摘要

A digest transmission system for mobile telephones comprises an index creation unit which creates an index assigned to multimedia content data. A scene extraction unit extracts one or more scenes from the multimedia content data with the index assigned, in response to an input keyword corresponding to the index. A digest creation unit creates a digest based on the extracted scenes. A digest transmitting unit transmits the created digest to a mobile telephone through a communication network.
