In a refrigerated vehicle having a plurality of spaced eutectic plates, ther e is provided a scraper assembly for removing frost and ice from the eutectic plates, the scraper assembly being reciprocably moveable and having at least one scraper blade secured thereto, the scraper blade being secured by means of a flexible portion. The arrangement avoids high cost systems using heat to melt the frost or ice.
